• My jewelry is available directly through this website, at select trunk shows and gallery exhibitions, or through a scheduled personal shopping visit. Each piece is created in small batches and released in limited quantities.

  • Yes. Every piece begins by hand in my studio. Pieces are fabricated and assembled individually, and each stone is set by hand. My work is produced in small batches, allowing me to maintain a close relationship with the materials and the process. I outsource the casting portion of my work.

  • Lost wax casting is an ancient metalworking technique used for thousands of years to create sculptural objects and jewelry. In this process, a hand-carved or hand-built wax model is used to create a mold. Molten metal is then poured into the mold, replacing the wax and forming the final metal piece.

Once cast, each piece returns to my studio where it is cleaned, refined, finished, and set by hand. This process allows for highly detailed forms while preserving the integrity of the original handmade design.

  • While all of my pieces begin as hand-built forms in my studio, I partner with a professional casting house for the casting process. Casting requires highly specialized equipment, dedicated studio space, and significant cost to maintain safely and properly.

By working with a trusted casting partner, I’m able to ensure high-quality castings while keeping my focus on the parts of the process I love most- designing, fabricating, finishing, and setting stones by hand.

  • Yes. Custom projects are one of my favorite parts of the work. I enjoy collaborating with clients to create pieces that hold personal meaning. Out of respect for fellow artists, I do not replicate or reproduce another jeweler’s designs.

  • Yes. A deposit is required to begin all custom commissions. This secures your place in my production schedule and allows me to begin sourcing materials and stones.

  • Yes. I maintain a small collection of stones available for custom projects. Clients are also welcome to source their own stone if they have something meaningful they would like incorporated into a piece.

  • Custom designs can be created in sterling silver, 14k gold, or bronze, depending on the design and your preference.

  • Sometimes, yes, and it’s completely harmless. Bronze is primarily copper, and when copper reacts with moisture, oils, or the natural pH of your skin, it can occasionally leave a faint green mark. This isn’t an allergy and it doesn’t happen to everyone. Factors like humidity, sweat, lotions, or body chemistry can make it more likely. If it does happen, the mark washes off easily with soap and water. Many people wear bronze every day without ever noticing it.

  • No. The bronze used in my work is a high-quality jewelry casting bronze made primarily of copper and tin. It does not contain lead or nickel. This alloy is widely used in fine jewelry casting and is chosen for its durability, warm golden tone, and skin-safe composition.

  • No. My work is produced in small batches and sold directly through my studio, website, and select exhibitions. Because of this, I do not offer wholesale pricing.

  • All sales are final.

  • At this time, I do not offer repair services. My practice is focused on fabrication and design, and I am not trained as a bench jeweler specializing in repair.

  • Jewelry care instructions can be found in the Jewelry Care section of this website. You will also find descriptions of the metals used in my work there.

  • My studio is located in downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
