Consultation Process

1. Initial Meeting: All consulting services commence with an in-person meeting at your project location, lasting approximately one hour. We will discuss your project in depth, addressing all questions and concerns.

2. Project Presentation: Following our initial meeting, I will prepare your project presentation from my home office. Once completed, we will reconvene at your project location to review the results.

Fees

• Initial Consultation and Project Presentation: The fee for the initial in-person consultation and subsequent project presentation is $200.

• Project Planning: Additional fees apply for the project planning phase, conducted off-site. My rate for this service is $75 per hour.

• Deposit: A $200 deposit is required to schedule our initial meeting. This deposit will be applied to your final payment at the project’s conclusion. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due at the time of the Project Presentation. Accepted payment methods include Venmo, PayPal, credit card, or cash.

• Travel Radius: Local projects are considered within a 15-mile radius of Lecompton, KS. Projects located outside this radius will incur additional travel fees at my hourly rate of $75, prorated for travel time.

By engaging in our consulting services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above. This structure is designed to ensure a smooth and professional collaboration, with clear expectations regarding fees and policies.

If you’re feeling stuck on a project, have hit a roadblock, or simply want to learn more about home renovations, this 1-on-1 mentorship day is perfect for you. Whether you need advice, a demo, or a helping hand, I’m here to guide you through your project. I’ll bring any tools you might need to borrow for the day, and we’ll work together as partners. From laying flooring and installing trim to reframing walls and beyond, I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step.

Before the day of the session, we’ll consult over the phone to discuss your needs and goals, ensuring we’re fully organized and prepared first our work day together. On the day of the appointment, I’ll arrive at 9 AM, and we’ll dive straight into your project. My visit will conclude at 3 PM.

Pricing and Policies

The total fee for the class is $500, covering instruction, hands-on training, and use of tools.

Travel Fees: Additional charges apply for locations beyond a 15-mile radius of Lecompton, KS, at a rate of $75 per hour, prorated for travel time.
